Bethany has worked on a number of critically-acclaimed shows and with many celebrated showrunners, including GENIUS: ARETHA (Suzan-Lori Parks); P-VALLEY (EP: Katori Hall); UNT. ANNA DELVEY (EP: Lena Dunham); DICKINSON (EP: Alena Smith); and THE AFFAIR (EP: Sarah Treem). For all of these, she has been part of the project from the first day in the writers room, to on set at camera wrap on the last day - developing key insight that translates from the writers room to set.
She is currently developing the screenplay JANE DOE alongside Rodrigo Garcia (100 YEARS OF SOLITUDE, IN TREATMENT, PARTY OF FIVE), who is also attached to direct. Bethany’s theatre credits include FUCK ALISON ROMAN (“Break the Ritual Series”, The Misfits, 2020); and MAGDALENE (RADA, 2015).
Bethany was named a semi-finalist in the Script Pipeline Competition (2020); a semi-finalist for the WGA Made in New York Fellowship (2018); and was a playwright-in-residence at the American Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford, CT during the summer of 2019.
She is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Department of Dramatic Writing.
